Therefore, we find models that are electric that completely renew their essence and aesthetics. This is the case of Volkswagen that has not taken any steps without making sure they are doing the right thing at all times. Now, the legendary brand has launched its new model, the newor Volkswagen ID. Aero, which is the first electric saloon of a firm that has not left indifferent.
When we talk about the new Volkswagen ID Auto has a measure of five meters in length and an unprecedented aerodynamic design. To do this, it is complemented by a coupé roof with a certain inclination. All this is complemented by a Volkswagen Modular Electric Drive Platform (MEB) also allows for short overhangs, a long wheelbase and an exceptionally spacious interior.
With the Volkswagen ID Auto we find a lithium-ion battery and capacity of 77kWh and a maximum autonomy of 620 km. Aesthetically, we see a model that has a design of the ID family and that makes it a vehicle of the middle and upper class. With a highly worked aerodynamics, allows to channel the flow of the air offering the best performance. The sporty 22-inch two-tone wheels feature a turbine-shaped design and are integrated into the wheel arches.
At the front, we find a honeycomb and a bumper that is divided into two parts longitudinally. With a thin luminous stripe, located on both sides of the illuminated VW logo and above the innovative matrix headlights.
One system for all models
At Volkswagen they have worked in several areas and the electric MEB platform has a great adaptability to any type of vehicle. Whether it’s an SUV, compact, micro bus or saloon, the MEB system can handle it all. To enjoy the new Volkswagen ID Aero we have to wait until the first models will roll off the production line in 2023 from the Emden factory, in Lower Saxony.
