There are many brands that have worked in recent years on a new business model and in which new ranges have been essential. This is the case with Toyota, which continues to focus on purely electric urban mobility. The Japanese firm has launched the first model of the Beyond Zero family, BZ, from Toyota, debuting the eTNGA platform. To do this, we find the Toyota BZ4X, a 100% electric SUV that aims to be the reference of four-wheeled SUVs.
When we talk about the new Toyota BZ4X, we are referring to the first battery electric vehicle, which powers zero emissions. The Japanese firm takes for the first time the off-road driving capability of an authentic 4×4 to the electric car market. Its launch will accelerate Toyota’s advancement, across multiple technologies, toward its goal of carbon neutrality.
Enhancing the quality and performance of this model, we find a vehicle where the technology of those electrified vehicles that we are seeing today is especially worked. To do this, Toyota has collaborated with Subaru as a development partner for bZ4X, bbenefiting from its recognized experience in areas such as all-wheel drive systems.
This model has the battery in the chassis, with a rigid frame and a low center of gravity. This model has a 150 kW eAxle electric axle that develops 204 hp and a maximum torque of 266 Nm. The all-wheel drive model has an eAxle of 80 kW on each axle, with a combined power of 218 hp and a torque of 337 Nm.
