After the success obtained last year in its introduction in the local market of China, the new Xpeng P5 will be sent to some countries in Europe to make room among the offer of electric vehicles. The new Asian sedan will be sold at its beginning in the lands of the old continent in three color combinations, the colors: space gray, deep black and topaz white, while its cabin will be configured in the colors black and brown. The prices for the first countries where it will arrive will be the following: Denmark from 390,000 Danish crowns (52,418 euros), Norway from 380,000 Norwegian kroner (39,505 euros), the Netherlands from 48,000 euros and in Sweden from 550,000 Swedish crowns (53,522 euros).
Characteristics
The new Xpeng P5 is powered by an electric motor that delivers up to 211 hp of power and 310 Nm of torque. This propeller is powered from a 66 kWh battery pack that allows a range of up to 465 km in WLTP cycle. Its acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is achieved in just 7.5 seconds. Its charging is achieved in 36 minutes, getting 30% using an 11 kW AC on-board charger, while with a fast charger up to 70 kW you can achieve up to 80% in the same time.
In the cabin, customers will have heated seats, two climate control zones, panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, tire pressure monitor, while at a technological level we have a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch multimedia touch screen with connectivity and over-the-air software updates.
In terms of safety and assistance, the new Xpeng P5 features Xpeng’s advanced XPILOT 2.5 system. This is assisted by five high-definition millimeter wave radars, four conduction cameras, 12 ultrasonic wave sensors along with nine high-perception cameras that support XPILOT driving. Added to this are lane centering control, active lane change, adaptive turn cruise, adaptive cruise control and hill descent control. Its first installments are not yet defined, but it can already be booked online.
