The automotive industry does not stop surprising and in recent days it has been KIA who has taken a step further and has launched the renewed version of one of its best-known CUVs. This is the case of the Kia Niro, which has completely innovated in the sector and does so by merging those advanced functions that users have always been looking for.
In the Korean firm they have opted to completely redesign the Kia Niro with the intention of meeting the needs of users. Within the C-CUV segment this model shows the new mentality with tradition. Now we find a safe and familiar car that surprises with its environmental capabilities and low consumption.
Kia Niro makes the mobility of the future sustainable thanks to a range of propulsion: electric hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric (BEV). The HEV and PHEV versions have the efficient Kia Smartstream petrol engine of 1.6 l GDI incorporated. In this way, we find a range of 463 km thanks to the electric mode.
This model has a length of 4,420mm, along with a width of 1,825mm and a height of 1,570mm.
With a wheelbase of 2,720 mm and improved proportions, it allows users to be much more comfortable inside. Regarding the interior, it should be noted that Koreans have opted to incorporate recycled materials in their design.
Kia Niro completely renovated
The PHEV and HEV models benefit from Kia’s exceptional Smartstream 1.6 GDI petrol engine, paired with the second generation of Kia’s six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox (6DCT). In the case of the HEV model, the 32kW electric motor produces a maximum power of 141hp. In the case ofl PHEV electric motor at 62kW allows you to reach a maximum power of 183hp.
The Kia Niro is aesthetically renewed, with a Tiger Face design. The wide windshield features an original upper profile with a double level, where the upper and lower sections create a sense of unity in the design. Along the side and beyond the C-pillar, boomerang-shaped LED taillights intensify the sporty image and sense of determination of the vehicle.
