This is the case of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xE plug-in hybrid.
The luxury firm set out to present this model exclusively, and they are already beginning to be distributed in the old continent. To do this, users can choose between the Limited 4xe, Trailhawk 4xe, Overland 4xe and Summit Reserve 4xe models. AndThis new vehicle has a great technological innovation, with an advanced 4×4 capacity and electrification. To do this, we will have to wait for the fourth quarter of 2022, when it is expected that this great model of the American brand will reach all points of sale.
In this new model, we find the most ecological motorization, allowing us to have a range of 51km electric and up to 700 km combined. This allows it to be one of the most sustainable, achieving an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.3 seconds. This vehicle offers enhanced levels of comfort and space, including the ability to accommodate a set of golf clubs transversely into the cargo compartment.
The New Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is equipped with a 400 volt, 17 kWh battery pack. The battery pack and control devices are mounted on the underside of the vehicle, protected under the ground by a series of protective plates. The model also includes an integrated dual charging module (ICDM) that combines a battery charger and a DC/DC converter in a single compact unit, with a smaller power inverter module (PIM).
A great diversity
The new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe features three driving models. Hybrid, which combines electric and thermal torque, electric and eSave.
