Little by little the brands that have gained their presence in the national market are growing and have done so betting on a new business model that does not stop growing by leaps and bounds. At Renault they are still living one of their best years for a long time and they have done it expanding its dealerships to reach a market volume very competitive in which the population will need to have the support of the official brand at all times.
With the intention of improving its presence in the Iberian Peninsula, Renault has partnered with two leading partners in the sector; the BYmyCAR Group and Intercargirona. Likewise, it has expanded the territory of action with three of its historical partners in Madrid (Cota Automoción), in Murcia (Grupo Marcos Automoción) and in Castellón and Villareal (Autersa). These changes are part of the Renaulution strategic plan, where they have partnered again with three of their long-standing partners.
ByMyCar bought the subsidiary Renault Group Barcelona and began operating in April 2022, completing its presence in 2011 thanks to being in other markets with more than 80 concessions. On the other hand, Intercargirona began operating in Girona in May after taking over the facility that belonged to Santiago Juando located in Fornells de la Selva.
To all this, in other Spanish dealerships changes have been introduced. Cota Automoción has acquired the facilities of Renault Retail Group Madrid located on Calle Oca (Madrid), which are added to its two centers that are located in Carabanchel (Madrid). The Marcos Automoción group has remained as the sole operator in Murcia and Autersa extends its territory to Castellón and Villareal by buying the facilities that Renault Retail Group Levante had in these cities.
The CEO of Renault, Alpine and Mobilize Iberia, Sébastien Guigues, has admitted that with this business link they open the way to a market that is gradually growing and that needs more headquarters: “With BYmyCAR and Intercargirona we have found two new partners with whom we will ensure the best service to our customers. In addition we have restructured some areas of Madrid, Murcia, Castellón and Villareal to optimize our capillarity. All these changes, accompanied by an exciting product plan ? like Megane E-Tech 100% electric or Austral ? they will lead us to the success of the Renaulution Spain Plan”.
