At a time when electric urban mobility has been enhanced and has become one of the most used in recent years, there are brands that have been able to readapt their business model and become the reference. This is the case of Peugeot who has not stopped working in these months and have known how to become a fact in a very battled market, as is the case with plug-in hybrid vehicles in the month of June.
With a 9.6% market share, the French firm has become the leader with more than 400 registrations in the Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHEV) segment. This has been achieved by consolidating itself in the first position with the Peugeot 3008 plug-in Hybrid model as the best-selling vehicle in Spain.
The French firm currently has one of the most competent and complete ranges of products and electric vehicles. Among them, we find passenger cars that compete in very diverse segments and all their models of commercial vehicles. Each of these models feature Pluig-in technology, as is the case with saloons, shooting brakes and SUVs. All this is complemented by vehicles that have zero vibrations, emissions and noise and almost 60 km of purely electric autonomy.
How is the Peuget 3008 Plug In Hybrid
The latest model launched by Peugeot, the 3008 Plug in Hybid, it has the latest technology on the market and has led it to stardom in the SUV universe. With a 5.9% market share and 249 registrations, the French firm remains in the lead, as in the first half of the year, with a market share of 7.1%.
The new high-end version of this SUV has 4 driving wheels and develops a power equivalent to 300 hp. It is the result of combining a 200 hp PureTech engine with two electric motors: one in front, associated with the e-EAT8 gearbox and which develops 110 hp. All this is complemented by a second Pure Tech engine in the rear train that has a power of 112hp and that allows to go from 0 to 100 km / h in less than six seconds.
