At a time when ecological and sustainable mobility has come to the fore, many brands have proposed that local commercial displacement be low-emission. For this reason, Peugeot has worked so that its models have a hydrogen fuel cell as standard. We are talking about the Peugeot e-Expert Hydrogen that has the best electrification of the moment allowing that no polluting gases are emitted.

Produced exclusively in Germany at the Russelsheim headquarters, it has a fast refuelling fuel cell. This allows for intensive use without emissions. Three minutes are enough to store the hydrogen needed to travel several hundred kilometers in 100% electric mode. This will be the key to attracting new users to electric vehicles. Peugeot wants to invest in a new mobility solution without commitments with zero CO2 emissions and become the leader in hydrogen mobility.

When we talk about the Peugeot e-Expert Hydrogen we refer to an electric vehicle with two energetic electric sources that has a mid-power plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric system from STELLANTIS. This system combines a rechargeable battery in the mains with the fuel cell fed by the hydrogen contained in the tanks under the floor of the vehicle.

The fuel cell of this model has overlapping current generating cells. Each of them generates a chemical reaction between two elements: hydrogen (the fuel stored in the tanks) and oxygen (which is present in the environment). To generate the energy necessary for the electric motor to propel the vehicle, several cells are assembled. With a capacity of 10.5kWh and a power of 90kW, it allows the electric motor to reach a power of 100kW and a torque of 260 Nm.
