This model has a total length of 4.69 meters, which is built on a wheelbase of 2.79 meters. The new model has a distance to the rear row of almost 20 centimeters to place the legs and have ease of movement and a trunk of 536 liters that becomes 1,611 thanks to the folding of the rear backrests.
A competitive model
The new Peugeot 408 model has two plug-in hybrid versions of 180 and 225 hp and one gasoline of 130hp. It should be noted that in all cases it has an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The lithium-ion battery of the two plug-in hybrid versions has a capacity of 12.4 kWh and a power of 102 kW. Two types of on-board chargers are available: a 3.7 kW single-phase charger as standard and a 7.4 kW single-phase charger as an option.
