It is one of the best-known luxury brands in the market, but they have surprised by their high-end models. When we talk about Maserati we refer to one of the Italian firms that have set the benchmark in the market with innovative vehicles. This is the case of the new sports supe Maserati MC20 Cielo, a car that offers high performance and that has been released in a sypder version.
MC stands for Maserati Corse, and the MC20 is the one they launched in 2020. It is a model that refers to the new stage that started in the Italian firm and that is intended for use on open roads, maintaining most of the privileges that are in the coupe version.
When we talk about the Maserati MC20 Cielo we refer to a car that comes equipped with a V6 Nettuno engine, which offers the perfect mix between sportiness and high luxury. All this, it does by offering all the novelties of the market, incorporating a retractable glass roof. We find a meeting point between the audacity of Maserati and the infinite sky, presenting a special “sky feeling”. Equipped with a state-of-the-art system, it allows the glass to transform from transparent to opaque.
With a weight 65kg higher than the coupe, we find a meticulous and precision work, where we find a carbon fiber chassis that guarantees the greatest torque and rigidity, offering the best possible driving. The new spyder is a car with an elegant but very sporty design. Its character and personality are truly striking for the purity of its forms and the refined aerodynamics, subjected to 360° tests in the wind tunnel, either with the roof open or closed.
A car that surprises
With a renewed design, we find butterfly doors, offering easier access. Aesthetically, it has a new triple-layer metallic color known as Acquamarina. It is a color that interacts with light. The new model also incorporates a wide range of active safety systems. In addition to the parking sensors, rearview camera and blind spot control present on the MC20 since the MY22 model, the new spyder incorporates autonomous emergency brake, traffic sign recognition and a new 360° camera.
