Lexus has unveiled the next model in its 2022 LC 500 “Inspiration” special edition lineup, this time using meditation as its chosen focus. As you can see, it is a special car, very striking, which has lines and details that will place it among the most requested sports cars of the moment.
From its aesthetic
Both coupe and convertible body styles will be available, each with unique features for the body style. To build it, Lexus starts with a Touring LC 500 package and adds a set of subtle but luxurious touches. Exterior touches include an Iridium paint color to contrast with the black finishes on the grille, headlight, taillight and rocker trim. In that sense we observe an aggressive front, with a pair of lines on the sides that match perfectly in the optics that come with the new LED technology, both for its daytime running lights and for its headlights, a large black grille grill, and a slogan that is displayed in the center. On the sides of the bumper has air intakes direct to the engine.
On the sides of the car we observe some powerfully striking alloy wheels, which in this case are a set of 21-inch 3D machined wheels, a novelty from Lexus, which in turn hide an efficient braking system composed of calipers and discs on all its wheels. The door locks come in the same body color. In the lower back of the doors we have air intakes. The mirror housings are also in the same shade as the bodywork.
A rear air spoiler exclusive to the coupe adds a sporty touch, as does the stainless steel protective plate. The brake lights come with LED technology. There are two exhaust outlets, and the manufacturer’s slogan is displayed in the center.
Inside the cabin
Inside the LC 500 there is a relaxing interior design to aid relaxation. Dark Rose accents interact with Semi-Aniline leather seats, as well as matching Dark Rose seat belts. Coupes receive Comfort seats, while convertibles receive sports seats.
In addition to the interior luxury in the Convertible model, there is a climate concierge, which offers heating in the upper part of the body and NuLuxe Headliner to combine with the matching Dark Rose soft top. Your favorite songs can be played at full volume through the 915-watt, 13-speaker Reference Mark Levinson surround sound audio system.
Other extras of interest
The LC 500 also comes standard with a smart access card and a head-up display (HUD), which displays road speed, selected gear, rev counter and turn-by-turn directions. The display also provides information on the status of the cruise control with dynamic radar, the pre-collision system, the lane keeping assist/lane change alert, the warning indicator information icons and the authorization sonar.
Inspiring collection
The Lexus Inspiration series debuted more than 5 years ago and has since included creations such as the LC 500 Black Inspiration, which dispensed with almost any trace of chrome, and the Aviation Inspiration, which featured unique touches inspired by air racing.
Final details and price
Only 150 units of the special edition model will be built, each with a special serialized badge on the center console indicating its unique number. The 2022 LC 500 Inspiration will hit dealerships in late spring, with prices set at $104,500 for the coupe and $115,580 for the convertible before handling and destination.
