There is no time to lose, there are many brands that know it, but they have been preparing by leaps and bounds to sow the foundations of one of the most important projects that have happened in recent moments, where the arrival of electrification is fundamental. Hyundai has been working on its two new rolling labs, which the Korean company has been working with in recent months. The RN22e and N Vision 74 prototypes they are testing that the latest technologies they have been installing in their models.
In the case of the Hyundai RN22e we find a model that has been inspired by the recently released Ioniq 6. This prototype has been developed on the E-GMP platform, which was launched last year with the Ioniq 5. With a body of 4,915 mm in length, 2,023 mm in width, 1,479 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, the RN22e is a 100% electric sports car which raises to the maximum expression some of the technologies available in other N models.
The new Hyundai RN22 has a great full traction, although its weight is really high due to the weight of the batteries, which together with a low center of gravity and an optimized distribution, allows us to have a great step through curves. Among the novelties that this model incorporates, we find the N Sound + system, which generates sound from indoor and outdoor speakers to offer a more dynamic driving feeling.
The new Hyundai N Vision 74 looks back to rescue the company’s heritage. SThe design is based on the 1974 Hyundai Pony Coupe, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. The result is a prototype of retro aesthetics, but with the latest in innovation, as evidenced by the combination of digital instrumentation and analog buttons.
The N Vision 74 has dimensions of 4,952 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, 1,331 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,905 mm. It is a hybrid model that combines the electric battery with the hydrogen fuel cell system, something that helps improve cooling and has a better torque distribution.
