At a time when it is difficult to make a difference, there are many models that have come to stay thanks to a unique and surprising style with each of their vehicles. In Hyundai they know what they are doing and it is not for less. The Asian firm have taken a step forward and have launched one of the models that will go down in history thanks to its versatility. We are talking aboutl Hyundai Tucson, which in 2021 with the fourth generation of such a vehicle, has become the current leader of the compact SUV segment in Europe.
Now, a year later, it has been found that it has become one of the best-selling models, which is ready to mark a new milestone and make a record of sales, with up to 15,806 units registered in Europe until the month of Europe. The model was revamped at the end of 2020, leading to notable sales during its first full year on the market. Hyundai sold 152,257 TUCSON units in 2021.
The new generation of Hyundai Tucson has a muscular line and dynamic proportions, employing lines, angles and shapes that are completed by making an innovative SUV design. All this is complemented by a clean and sophisticated interior putting the driver in the foreground. With features such as a fully digitized 10.25-inch instrument panel, 10.25-inch AVN touchscreen, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, making the experience unique.
The TUCSON offers the widest range of electrified engines in its segment. In addition to the 48-volt mild gasoline and diesel hybrid systems, full hybrids and plug-in hybrids, the model is also available in non-electrified versions: a 1.6-liter T-GDI engine with 150 hp and a six-speed manual transmission as well as a 1.6-liter CRDi engine with 115 hp.
A unique model
Made in Europe, is one of the few models that have been manufactured between Czech Republic and Turkey, accounting for 72% of the units produced in Europe in sales volume. All this makes it one of the most remembered models in the market.
