At a time when the automotive sector has not stopped growing with new surprising models that have adapted perfectly to changing times and a very selective public that seeks to generate emotions with its new models that have been presented in a market that has not stopped evolving. Under these premises, Hyundai has continued to make history in Spain, where little by little it is consolidating itself as one of the automotive groups that have grown the most in the last month thanks to a wide variety of models that have guaranteed the survival of the brand in a period of high inflation.
In recent days it has been officially communicated that the group has positioned itself in the second position during the month of July thanks to its high sales. The Asian firm has more than 5,000 sales, specifically with 5,621 units sold, something that has helped it consolidate itself as one of the strongest, assuming a record market share of 8.21% and a growth of 10.4%.
These results have helped Hyundai to be the generalist brand with the highest growth during the period from January to July, with 14.9%. Their numbers indicate this and that is that they have more than 33,749 units sold in those months. This is relevant data taking into account that the general market is in contraction that falls by 12.5% in the same period.
According to the latest data, the Hyundai Tucson is the best-selling model, with more than 13,560 units sold, compared to the Hyundai Kona with 6,150 and the Hyundai i20 with 5,334 units. All this can be analyzed taking into account also the growth that the private sector has had, which has a growth of 37.3% compared to the same period of 2021 and a total of 20,315 vehicles were sold. The rent a car channel has also had a growth of 22.6% compared to 3.8% of companies.
