There is no doubt that the second-generation BMW 6 Series, or also known as the E63, has been considered by many customers to be the ugliest BMW model ever produced. However, the people of Hamann has come to their rescue. And it is that the famous trainer has made some adjustments in order to improve its appearance a little and make it a little more attractive to the eye, although it is still ugly. Let’s look at the sconces that the hamann guys have placed on the coupe.
Small aesthetic renovation
For starters, the BMW M6 has received a new lip-shaped front spoiler located at the bottom of the front bumper that gives it a sportier look. This is joined by another spoiler but in the back that gives a better presence to the saga. We also have in the saga a Hamann/Supersprint exhaust that allows the original 5.0-liter V10 engine of the BMW M6 to have a better soundtrack. Finally, the visual changes in its exterior have been improved with the incorporation of new three-piece Schmidt wheels with chrome cylinders and black spokes that measure for its front axle 21 x 9.5 while in the rear section they measure 21 x 10.5. These alloy wheels are shod with 255/30 tires in front and 295/25 in the rear.
In the cabin, no changes are reported, nor in its powertrain. And as far as its mechanics are concerned, the BMW E63 brings under the hood a real jewel of propulsion: the 5.0-liter V10 engine that throws a power of 507 hp and a maximum torque of 520 Nm. This engine was associated with a six-speed automatic transmission. Importantly, this second generation was produced between 2004 and 2010, so it is not a new car.
Finally, we have that the guys from Hamann improved the suspension system with the incorporation of KW Variant 3 shock absorbers, which reduced the distance of the car from the ground by 45 mm on the front axle and by 35 mm in its rear section. There is no doubt that these arrangements will extend the life of the iconic BMW 6 Series a little longer.
