Bmw has opted for a clean and sharp design with aerodynamic shapes that will help achieve good performance. The grille with the FRAMEless BMW kidneys in vertical arrangement, the large side air intakes, the muscular wheel arches and the prominently extended side skirts.
The new BMW M3 Touring is equipped with an in-line six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology developed for the Competition versions of the BMW M3/M4 range it offers a maximum power of 375 kW/510 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Nm. The 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine, which is characterised by the ability to work at high revs for which M engines are famous and a linear delivery of power even at high load levels, forms the basis of the engine of the BMW M4 GT3, the brand’s new endurance racing car.
A revolutionary car
With an eight-speed gearbox, the power of the engine is transmitted perfectly thanks to its all-wheel drive system. The distribution of power between all four wheels depending on the conditions optimises the traction of the BMW M3 Competition Touring with M xDrive, as well as its agility and directional stability. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is completed in 3.6 seconds and it only takes 12.9 seconds to do the sprint from 0 to 200 km/h.
