Fiat was always interested in presenting special editions of the 500 so the all-electric version could not be missing in the game. The latest iteration of the Cinquecento is bocelli’s 500 La Prima, which is the new top-of-the-range finish focused on offering a premium sound experience from tenor Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo. It is a spectacular car, which will be a special edition that many will talk about and wish to have in their garages.
It’s a special edition
As the name suggests, the special edition is based on the 500 La Prima, which comes packed with features like the most expensive model in the range. Since its debut in 2020, it has also been the most popular model, accounting for a third of sales of the new 500. In order to create the best sound for the urban EV, Fiat partnered with Bocellis and JBL, who supplied the hardware. The 320-watt audio system incorporates JBL’s “Virtual Places” technology and is specially tuned for the small 500 cockpit. Fiat has not specified how many speakers or subwoofers are included in the bespoke sound system, but fortunately the already tiny 185 lt. cargo space is not affected.
Inside the vehicle
In addition to the sleek sound system, the 500 La Prima By Bocelli also comes equipped with the ” Sanitizing Glove ” that debuted in the RED trim to combat the pandemic a few months ago. With this, owners will be able to disinfect their personal items on request thanks to a UV-C lamp in the glove compartment that works in three-minute cycles. Other standard features include the 10.25-inch touchscreen for Uconnect infotainment, the 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and Level 2 ADAS.
The special edition is available in hatchback, cabrio and 3+1 body styles. All of them come standard with full-LED headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels, while inside we find a woven dashboard and ice beige seats.
The external
Externally we notice a youthful front, with its short hood, its lights or LED optics, both for night and daytime lights. The grille lights the symbol of “500” in a fine chrome, which generates a certain extra touch of elegance. On the sides of the bumper we have led daytime running lights of round type. The lower part comes with a grille or air intake in the form of a black grille.
On the sides of the car we have the aforementioned wheels, which are combined with the black and silver color, keeping in itself a complete and efficient brake system composed of calipers and discs on each of its wheels. The door locks come in the same body color, as do the mirror housings.
Finally we have the back of the car with its LED brake lights, a third stop at intermediate level, among other interesting details. Customers can choose from six body colors, including Onyx Black, Rose Gold, Ice White, Mineral Grey, Ocean Green, and Celestial Blue, though black is probably the best choice for visiting the opera.
Mechanics
The EV comes with the larger 42 kWh battery that offers an advertised WLTP range of 321 kilometers of travel (199 miles) and the most powerful electric motor producing 117 horsepower (87 kW/118 PS) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque.

Final Details
The Italian automaker didn’t specify the price of the 500 La Prima By Bocelli, but we expect it to be a bit higher than the high-end La Prima. The Fiat 500 is Stellantis’ best-selling electric vehicle and the most popular urban electric vehicle in Europe.
