The future of urban mobility goes through ecological and sustainable displacement, with the electric option being the best alternative at this precise moment while they are researching the hydrogen cell. Electric vehicles continue to advance by leaps and bounds, being one of the best options for Spanish users. Last August they managed to sell more than 4,682 models, whether plug-in, electric, through cars, buses, quads or commercial models.
In the case of models considered alternative, such as electrified, hybrid or gas, they have sales above 7%, managing to sell 21,431 units. It should be noted that to all this, we find a growing sales market, with up to 216,481 units sold. In this way, it is consolidated as the second most valued option by users, achieving a market share of 34.23%, being surpassed only by those gasoline models.
Among the zero label models, we find the electric models, which increased by more than 25.7%, achieving more than 1,901 units registered, being 3% the market share in that month. To all this, among the plug-in hybrid models they have a growth of 3%, managing to register more than 2,781 vehicles, being more than 4% of market share and reaching 30,528 units sold throughout the year.
Models with an eco label are in a strange stage. On the one hand, Gas vehicles had a decrease of 45% with 1,021 units registered. On the other hand, hybrid models are one of the most used so far. In the case of non-plug-ins, they have an increase of 12.8% in August, assuming the 15,728 units registered in August.
A very varied market
With 20,604 units sold, registrations of electrified, hybrid and gas models increased in August by 5.9%. It should be noted that among the battery models they had a growth of 7% compared to 3% of the rollable models. With these data the good state of the market is confirmed, where users are betting on sustainable mobility at all times.
