The CUPRA León e-HYBRID improves the aerodynamics of the plug-in hybrid sports compact, by reducing ground clearance by 25 millimeters and is now compatible with the optional Brembo calipers and can also be configured with the sportier VZ CUP finish that offers an interior exclusive thanks to elements such as the CUPBucket seats, which are located in a lower position and in the rear part allow you to appreciate its carbon fiber covering.
ANDhe CUPRA León, both with a 5-door bodywork and with the Sportstourer family, already offered a unique driving experience thanks to its highly advanced engines -including two plug-in hybrids-, its rigid and elaborate chassis, and the sophistication and sportiness of its exterior and interior design. Now, with the introduction of improvements that affect the chassis section in the two hybrid variants (204 and 245 hp), the CUPRA León e-HYBRID takes the King of Lions to a new level.
The chassis of the CUPRA León e-HYBRID reduces its ground clearance by 25 millimeters*. This lowers the center of gravity, increases poise in corners and improves aerodynamics. On the other hand, from this moment the e-HYBRID variants are compatible with the most performing braking system. The brake calipers signed by Brembo are four-piston and are combined with ventilated and perforated discs that are larger than the standard ones (370 x 32 mm), which increase braking efficiency and offer great resistance to fatigue.
With the Brembo braking system, the sport spindle is also added, which basically improves dynamics, cornering grip, precision and reaction, thanks to a greater angle of negative camber, which goes from 1º to 1.39º
CUPRA León e-HYBRID: CUPRA and VZ CUP finishes
The most powerful version of the CUPRA León e-HYBRID (245 CV) can now be chosen with the VZ finish or with the new VZ CUP finish that pays homage to the competition models. The CUPRA León VZ CUP adds new elements. Interior highlights include the CUPBucket seats, available in Black or Petrol Blue leather. The new CUPBucket seats, with a very exclusive design and covered in carbon fiber at the rear, are located in a lower position to optimize space and offer a more ergonomic posture, something that is especially relevant in a vehicle with the sporty essence of the CUPRA Leon.
The exterior of the CUPRA León VZ CUP also features modifications that further highlight its sporty character, such as the carbon fiber rear spoiler in Copper color (only for the 5-door), the optional rear-view mirror housings in the same finish, and the side skirts in dark aluminium.
